The Ice Age meets the Space Age as you learn the natural and human history of this remarkable area!

Visit Lake Louise, the icon of the Canadian Rockies, before your spectacular journey along the Icefields Parkway. At Lake Louise, stroll along the emerald green shores with a picture-perfect view of the Victoria Glacier. You'll make photographic stops at Crowfoot Glacier and Peyto Lake as you head toward the impressive view at the Big Hill. On this guided tour, learn about the unique ecosystem and the creation of the glaciers you experience on your way to the Columbia Icefield. After your ride on our all-terrain Ice Explorer, there is time to visit the Glacier Gallery, restaurant or gift shop at the Icefields Centre. Return to Banff in the late afternoon.

This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

The Icefield covers an area of nearly 325 square kilometers and reaches a depth of 250-320 meters.

Please Note: When the Columbia Icefield Ice Explorer Ride (Snocoach) is not operating due to seasonal factors, this tour may be reduced by approximately 1 1/2 hours.
